The project aimed to adapt an old apartment of 200 m2 to the expectations of a young executive who wished to have large ambiances with daylight and good ventilation, which could also be a space to receive friends and hold parties. The original plan with three bedrooms became a space (after the refurbishing in 2011) that integrates the living, leisure, and food preparation areas, creating a single integrated ambiance into which the bedroom opens through a large sliding door. The architect’s choices are clear in making the original structure of the apartment visible and through the chromatic contrast by using neutral colors and bright colors – such as the use of techno cement coating and the yellow and red colors on some walls. The residence also has a large panel by artist Alexandre Orion and a set of furniture and objects by renowned artists.
